This Society, bringing together astronomers and those interested in the science and the heavens, will host once monthly meetings, provide monthly newsletters and provide a forum for discussion of astronomy in Kendal. Secondarily, it will honour Sir Arthur Stanley Eddington, the famous Astronomer and Astrophysicist born in the town of Kendal.
